Job Description
A School Psychologist is needed to support K-12 students within a dynamic school district located in Ypsilanti, MI. This full-time, onsite contract position is available immediately and continues through June 5, 2026. Part-time candidates will also be considered, offering some flexibility while providing essential psychological services to a diverse student population.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and evaluations for students in Kindergarten through 12th grade
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and intervention plans
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
- Utilize data to inform instruction and support student academic and social-emotional success
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide professional recommendations
Qualifications:
- Current, active Michigan School Psychologist license
- Masters degree in School Psychology from an accredited college or university
- Experience working in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to student advocacy and ethical practice
