This full-time position involves working primarily with preschool-age students while also supporting district-wide needs. Youll be responsible for evaluations, assessments, and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team, all on a single school campus near Davis, CA.
Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid School Psychologist credential
- Experience in conducting psychological evaluations and assessments for students
- Familiarity with early childhood evaluations is highly preferred
- Strong communication skills for interacting with students, guardians, and staff
- Comfort working both independently and collaboratively within a school setting
- Ability to manage and prioritize caseload effectively throughout the year
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for preschool and, as needed, other age groups district-wide
- Interpret results and share findings with parents, teachers, and special education teams
- Develop and recommend individualized education plans based on evaluation outcomes
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Offer consultation and support to educators regarding interventions and student behavior strategies
- Maintain organized, timely, and confidential documentation
