Make a meaningful impact as a bilingual School Psychologist in a supportive educational environment! This contract position starts in late August and continues through the end of May. Youll be a key part of a dedicated team, working onsite and supporting students for the 20262027 academic year. Qualifications:
- Current Connecticut Educator Certificate required
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is a must
- Previous experience as a School Psychologist in school settings preferred
- Comfort working with various grade levels and caseloads
- Strong assessment, intervention, and advocacy skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Responsibilities:
- Deliver psychological evaluations, assessments, and counseling services to students across all grade levels
- Support individualized education planning through collaboration with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Promote positive student behavior and social-emotional development
- Provide crisis intervention and consult on behavior management strategies
- Work closely with parents and educators, offering culturally sensitive support and recommendations
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to all state and federal educational guidelines
