Ideal Experience and Qualifications:
- Current license as a School Psychologist (educator credential required; counselors not considered)
- Previous experience in K-12 educational environments preferred
- Skilled in conducting assessments, providing individual and group counseling, and supporting IEPs
- Ability to work collaboratively within a large, multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication, cultural competency, and adaptability for a diverse school environment
- Available for full-time onsite work during the academic year (no remote options)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop recommendations for student support services
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators to create and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs)
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and behavior management strategies
- Participate in team meetings, evaluations, and planning sessions
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all district and legal requirements
- Foster a positive and inclusive school climate for all students
