Job Description

This contract position invites a compassionate and dedicated School Psychologist to collaborate with educators and families to nurture students potential and well-being.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Masters or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
  • Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Demonstrated experience providing psycho-educational assessments and interventions in K-12 environments.
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes, 504 plans, and special education eligibility criteria.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Ability to manage multiple caseloads efficiently and adapt to a variety of learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify students academic, behavioral, and emotional strengths and needs.
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and caregivers to develop effective strategies and interventions.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor IEPs and 504 accommodation plans.
  • Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and social-emotional support for students.
  • Interpret assessment data and clearly communicate findings to staff and families.
  • Advocate for inclusive practices that promote student success and positive school climates.
