Job Description

This full-time opportunity focuses on nurturing the youngest learners, from birth through age five, across Salem/South Marion County and Yamhill County settings. Qualifications:

  • Current and active Oregon School Psychologist license (OR PSYCH)
  • Experience or strong interest in working with children from birth to age five
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Ability to manage a varied and dynamic caseload across multiple schools
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess cognitive, social, and emotional development of infants and preschool-aged children
  • Consult with educators and families to create and implement targeted intervention plans
  • Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and support services as needed
  • Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and district policies
  • Participate in IEP/IFSP meetings, multidisciplinary team evaluations, and professional development opportunities
  • Travel between assigned locations within South Marion and Yamhill Counties
