Job Description

A school district in Cypress, TX is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist on a contract basis to support student mental health and academic achievement. This role involves working closely with educators, parents, and students to assess needs and develop appropriate interventions within the school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop comprehensive support plans
  • Provide counseling and support services to students facing academic or emotional challenges
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and legal standards

Desired Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctorate degree in School Psychology or related field
