Key Qualifications:

• Masters or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
• Valid certification or licensure appropriate for school psychology
• Previous experience working in educational settings, particularly with diverse student populations
• Strong knowledge of assessment tools and intervention strategies
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to provide counseling, consultation, and crisis intervention as needed

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for students
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective academic and behavioral interventions
• Participate in eligibility meetings and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) as part of the multidisciplinary team
• Offer individual and group counseling sessions to support student mental health and well-being
• Provide crisis management, prevention, and intervention services when necessary
• Serve as a resource to staff and families regarding best practices in supporting student learning and development
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and district policies
