Key Qualifications:

  • Active Illinois School Psychologist certification (IL PSYCH Credentials)
  • Experience or familiarity with middle school caseloads preferred
  • Knowledge of assessment, evaluation, and intervention strategies in a school setting
  • Strong communication, consultation, and collaboration skills
  • Passion for supporting students, families, and staff to foster positive outcomes

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct student evaluations for special education eligibility and behavioral interventions
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create effective support plans
  • Provide counseling, consultation, and crisis intervention as needed
  • Serve as an advocate for students well-being and success within the school community
