This is a full-time contract opportunity for a qualified professional with valid Illinois School Psychologist credentials who thrives in a collaborative, student-centered environment. Youll join a dynamic educational team, providing essential services that help students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Illinois School Psychologist certification (IL PSYCH Credentials)
- Experience or familiarity with middle school caseloads preferred
- Knowledge of assessment, evaluation, and intervention strategies in a school setting
- Strong communication, consultation, and collaboration skills
- Passion for supporting students, families, and staff to foster positive outcomes
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct student evaluations for special education eligibility and behavioral interventions
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create effective support plans
- Provide counseling, consultation, and crisis intervention as needed
- Serve as an advocate for students well-being and success within the school community
