Qualifications and Experience:

  • Possession of a valid state license or eligibility as a School Psychologist
  • Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Previous experience working in school settings preferred
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities, engaging students, families, and staff
  • Willingness to travel as part of a contract assignment

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for students
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students, addressing academic, behavioral, and social-emotional concerns
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and staff to offer strategies for supporting students diverse needs
  • Participate in crisis intervention and prevention programs
  • Contribute actively to RTI/MTSS processes, data collection, and progress monitoring
