Qualifications and Experience:
- Possession of a valid state license or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Previous experience working in school settings preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities, engaging students, families, and staff
- Willingness to travel as part of a contract assignment
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for students
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students, addressing academic, behavioral, and social-emotional concerns
- Consult with teachers, parents, and staff to offer strategies for supporting students diverse needs
- Participate in crisis intervention and prevention programs
- Contribute actively to RTI/MTSS processes, data collection, and progress monitoring
