About the Opportunity
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated and qualified School Psychologist for a full-time, school-based position in Mobile, AL for the 20262027 school year. This role focuses on supporting students academic achievement, emotional well-being, and behavioral development through assessment, intervention, and collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment data
  • Develop and support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Provide counseling and intervention services as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
  • Assist with behavior intervention plans and MTSS/RTI processes
  • Participate in eligibility meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Maintain accurate and compliant documentation

Qualifications

  • Masters, Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
  • Active Alabama certification/licensure as a School Psychologist (or ability to obtain)
  • Previous school-based experience preferred
  • Strong assessment, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
