Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Masters degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
- Current and valid School Psychologist certification or eligibility for state licensure
- Strong background in conducting assessments, developing behavior intervention plans, and offering counseling
- Experience working in a K-12 school setting is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and staff
- Familiarity with special education processes, IEP development, and RTI/MTSS frameworks
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to identify learning, emotional, or behavioral needs
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and parents to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Offer consultation and guidance to teachers on instructional strategies, behavioral interventions, and classroom management techniques
- Deliver direct counseling services to students, individually or in groups, addressing social-emotional and behavioral concerns
- Serve as part of multidisciplinary teams for eligibility determinations and problem-solving meetings
- Maintain accurate, confidential records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and school regulations
