Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Masters degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
• Current and valid School Psychologist certification or eligibility for state licensure
• Strong background in conducting assessments, developing behavior intervention plans, and offering counseling
• Experience working in a K-12 school setting is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and staff
• Familiarity with special education processes, IEP development, and RTI/MTSS frameworks

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to identify learning, emotional, or behavioral needs
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and parents to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Offer consultation and guidance to teachers on instructional strategies, behavioral interventions, and classroom management techniques
• Deliver direct counseling services to students, individually or in groups, addressing social-emotional and behavioral concerns
• Serve as part of multidisciplinary teams for eligibility determinations and problem-solving meetings
• Maintain accurate, confidential records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and school regulations
