Make a meaningful difference supporting K-12 students as a School Psychologist in a collaborative and dynamic educational environment. This is a contract opportunity to work onsite for the 2026-2027 school year. Youll work closely with staff, students, and families across Emporia and neighboring districtswith all schools within a 20-minute drivehelping ensure every learner receives foundational guidance and support.
What You Bring:
- Valid Kansas Psychologist License (KS Psych License)
- Previous experience as a School Psychologist preferred
- Comfort serving a varied K-12 caseload
- Flexible approach, able to travel locally (all assignments within easy driving distance)
- Excellent communication skills for working with teams, parents, and students
- Ability to develop, conduct, and interpret evaluations and individualized education plans (IEPs)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological services, including assessments, counseling, and consultations for K-12 students
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor IEPs
- Support academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth through data-driven interventions
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and provide recommendations
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to create positive, supportive educational environments
- Maintain timely, accurate records in compliance with state and district requirements
- Travel to various school sites (all within close proximity to Emporia)
