Desired qualifications:
- Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field
- Active state certification or license as a School Psychologist
- Experience in cognitive, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments
- Familiarity with IEP processes and special education compliance
- Strong communication and consultation skills with students, staff, and parents
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to identify students strengths and needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and help develop individualized education plans
- Provide counseling and intervention services for students as needed
- Consult with teachers and staff to design and implement positive behavior supports
- Collaborate with families and community resources to ensure holistic support for students
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for compliance and student records
- Engage in crisis intervention and provide support during acute student needs
