Job Description

Desired qualifications:

  • Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Active state certification or license as a School Psychologist
  • Experience in cognitive, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and special education compliance
  • Strong communication and consultation skills with students, staff, and parents
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to identify students strengths and needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings and help develop individualized education plans
  • Provide counseling and intervention services for students as needed
  • Consult with teachers and staff to design and implement positive behavior supports
  • Collaborate with families and community resources to ensure holistic support for students
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation for compliance and student records
  • Engage in crisis intervention and provide support during acute student needs
