Job Description

Key Qualifications:
- Valid state certification or licensure as a school psychologist
- Masters or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
- Familiarity with developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong understanding of special education laws, including IDEA and Section 504
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with students, parents, and educators
- Ability to provide crisis intervention, consultation, and counseling as needed
- Prior experience in a school setting preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify students academic, social, and emotional needs
- Interpret assessment results and participate in eligibility determination meetings
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and adjust intervention strategies
- Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of IEPs and 504 Plans
- Provide direct counseling and behavioral support to students individually and in groups
- Deliver professional development and consultation to staff and families on relevant topics
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and timelines
- Participate in problem-solving teams and contribute to a positive school environment
