Job Description

This contract position is for a licensed School Psychologist to support elementary and middle school students during the 2026-2027 school year. The role focuses on providing psychological services for students from Kindergarten through 8th grade at one school location in Cottage Grove, MN.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage caseloads consisting of 25-35 elementary students (K-5) and 20-30 middle school students (6-8)
  • Develop, implement, and support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Provide counseling and behavioral interventions tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to promote student success
  • Assist with crisis intervention and contribute to student safety planning efforts
  • Work within one building to streamline services and enhance student support

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid Minnesota School Psychologist license
  • Experience working with K-8 student populations
  • Strong understanding of IEP development and behavioral intervention strategies
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Position Details:

  • Contract Term: August 31, 2026 June 4, 2027
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week
  • Location: Cottage Grove, MN
