Job Description
This contract position is for a licensed School Psychologist to support elementary and middle school students during the 2026-2027 school year. The role focuses on providing psychological services for students from Kindergarten through 8th grade at one school location in Cottage Grove, MN.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage caseloads consisting of 25-35 elementary students (K-5) and 20-30 middle school students (6-8)
- Develop, implement, and support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and behavioral interventions tailored to student needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to promote student success
- Assist with crisis intervention and contribute to student safety planning efforts
- Work within one building to streamline services and enhance student support
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Minnesota School Psychologist license
- Experience working with K-8 student populations
- Strong understanding of IEP development and behavioral intervention strategies
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Position Details:
- Contract Term: August 31, 2026 June 4, 2027
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week
- Location: Cottage Grove, MN
