This onsite, contract opportunity calls for a dedicated professional to help foster student growth and development across elementary through junior high grades.
Youll work directly with a manageable caseload of approximately 26 students, offering crucial support for those with IEPs, and contributing expertise in assessments and evaluations throughout the academic year. The position offers flexibility with either full-time or part-time hours, ideal for professionals seeking balance alongside meaningful impact.
Qualifications:
- Active Washington School Psychologist License
- ESA Certification recognized by Washington State
- Experience working with IEP caseloads in a school setting preferred
- Strong proficiency in conducting student evaluations and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building productive relationships with students, staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations for students referred for special education services
- Provide ongoing psychological support and intervention for students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop strategies for academic and behavioral success
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to compliance timelines
- Serve as a resource for crisis intervention and contribute to a positive school climate
