Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Completion of an accredited school psychology graduate program (EdS, MA, or PhD)
- Experience administering, scoring, and interpreting a wide range of psychological and academic assessments
- Familiarity with Response to Intervention (RTI), functional behavior assessments (FBAs), and individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Background working with PreK-12 students preferred
- Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments to identify students strengths and areas of need
- Collaborate with school staff to develop, implement, and monitor interventions promoting student success
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing guidance on eligibility and services
- Consult with teachers and parents on effective strategies for supporting students academic and social-emotional development
- Deliver crisis intervention, counseling, and behavioral consultation as needed
- Maintain detailed, confidential records and submit timely reports
