A full-time School Psychologist opportunity is available for the 2026/2027 school year within a K-12 district, providing comprehensive psychological services and evaluations district-wide. This position offers a contract role based in Albany, OR, requiring a dedication of 37.5 hours per week. The School Psychologist will play a pivotal role in supporting student success through assessments, counseling, and collaboration with educators and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students across K-12 grades.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to address student needs.
- Provide counseling and support services to students facing academic, emotional, or behavioral challenges.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and maintain thorough documentation of services.
- Utilize data to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in the state of Oregon.
- Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations and applying best practices in school settings.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of legal and ethical standards related to special education services.
