Position Overview:
- Full-time hours, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
- Itinerant role serving 12 school locations within a district
- Work with elementary and middle school students
Qualifications:
- Current New York School Psychologist license is required
- Experience working with K-8 caseloads is highly valued
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with staff, families, and students
- Ability to travel across multiple school sites within the district
- Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations
- Develop and implement intervention strategies tailored to student needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to individualized education plans
- Collaborate with teachers, administration, and multidisciplinary teams to support students' academic and emotional growth
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and consultative services as needed
- Maintain accurate student records and documentation
