Position Overview:

  • Full-time hours, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
  • Itinerant role serving 12 school locations within a district
  • Work with elementary and middle school students

Qualifications:

  • Current New York School Psychologist license is required
  • Experience working with K-8 caseloads is highly valued
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with staff, families, and students
  • Ability to travel across multiple school sites within the district
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations
  • Develop and implement intervention strategies tailored to student needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to individualized education plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, administration, and multidisciplinary teams to support students' academic and emotional growth
  • Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and consultative services as needed
  • Maintain accurate student records and documentation
