Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Masters or doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
• Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in TX (or eligible)
• Experience conducting evaluations, FBAs, and developing IEPs
• Strong understanding of IDEA, Section 504, and best practices in school psychology
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to determine eligibility for special education services
• Interpret assessment data and provide clear, actionable recommendations
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
• Deliver counseling and direct intervention services for students as needed
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents on academic, social, and behavioral concerns
• Support crisis intervention efforts and promote safe learning environments
• Keep accurate records and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
