Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting student assessments, developing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and interpreting behavioral data
- Strong collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and parents
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Current knowledge of state and federal education regulations, including IDEA and Section 504
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations for students
- Develop and support implementation of IEPs and behavior intervention plans
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to support student learning and well-being
- Contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams regarding academic, behavioral, and social/emotional supports
- Maintain clear documentation and participate in IEP and eligibility meetings
