Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology or closely related field
- Demonstrated experience providing psychological services in schools preferred
- Expertise in administering academic, cognitive, and social-emotional assessments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for staff and family consultations
- Ability to develop and support effective intervention strategies for diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations for students identified as needing support
- Interpret assessment results and create data-driven recommendations
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention and safety plans
- Provide direct and indirect support to students academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Participate in IEP, MTSS/RTI, and other student-centered meetings
- Facilitate crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and program development when needed
- Document services and maintain compliance with federal and state guidelines
