Job Description

This contract position is based onsite, supporting elementary and middle school students in a welcoming environment. Youll play a key role in fostering student success and well-being through expert assessment, intervention, and collaboration.

Enjoy a manageable caseload of approximately 45 to 50 students, working 35-40 hours per week during the school year. Your expertise will be essential in guiding students, families, and educators toward positive outcomes.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Valid and active Georgia school psychologist license
  • Experience working with elementary and/or middle school age children
  • Strong communication and consultation skills with students, parents, and staff
  • Solid understanding of assessment tools, IEP development, and related processes
  • Ability to excel in a collaborative, onsite, school-based setting

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and interpret assessment results
  • Collaborate with educators and parents to develop and implement IEPs
  • Deliver individualized and group counseling services as needed
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide consultation
  • Monitor student progress and adjust supports as necessary
  • Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to compliance requirements
