Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Proven experience providing psychological assessments, counseling, and interventions in an educational setting
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to create a safe, supportive environment for students
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students referred for services
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver counseling services and crisis interventions as needed
- Interpret assessment data and share insights with school staff and families
- Participate in Individualized Education Program meetings and contribute to the development of educational strategies
- Provide consultative support to teachers, administrators, and families on behavioral and academic interventions
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to special education
