Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure appropriate for the state of Ohio
- Masters degree or higher in School Psychology or closely related field
- Experience in academic, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments
- Strong communication skills for working with students, families, and staff
- Ability to implement and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Familiarity with Response to Intervention (RTI) and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) frameworks
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred, but enthusiastic new graduates are welcome to apply
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations, including cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop interventions and support strategies
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions for students
- Assist with crisis intervention and offer recommendations for support
- Participate in eligibility determinations and planning meetings
- Support teachers and staff in designing inclusive classroom strategies
- Engage in ongoing professional development and remain current with best practices in the field
