Exciting opportunities are available for passionate and dedicated School Psychologists to provide onsite services in an educational environment for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract role offers a dynamic schedule from August 3rd, 2026, through May 21st, 2027, with the potential for pre- and post-planning days. Full-time positions are available, with a minimum commitment of 37.5 hours per week; there may be flexibility for part-time arrangements depending on availability.
In this vital role, you will collaborate with educational teams to support student growth and well-being. The district will tailor caseloads based on your experience, skill set, and preferred age group, with further details determined during the interview process. Candidates comfortable with diligent documentation are encouraged, as daily logs for services rendered are required.
Qualifications:
- Valid Georgia Educator Certificate for School Psychology.
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Commitment to thorough documentation and compliance practices.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs within the district.
- Willingness to complete daily service logs.
- Onsite presence is required; remote candidates will not be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct student evaluations and support special education eligibility processes.
- Develop and implement interventions to foster student success.
- Serve as a resource for teachers, families, and administrators.
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of services provided.
