Key Qualifications:
- Licensed or certified as a School Psychologist in the state (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience working as a School Psychologist in an educational setting strongly preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge of conducting assessments, interpreting data, and developing intervention strategies
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents
- Comfortable managing a diverse caseload (details of final assignment to be provided)
- Commitment to ethical practices and maintaining confidentiality at all times
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and academic assessments for students referred for evaluation
- Develop and implement intervention and behavior plans in collaboration with educators and families
- Serve as an advocate and resource for students social, emotional, and academic development
- Provide crisis intervention, consultation, and individualized support as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings, write thorough evaluation reports, and ensure compliance with relevant state and federal guidelines
- Maintain accurate records and uphold all documentation standards
