Support students success and well-being through a fulfilling contract role as a School Psychologist near Columbia, SC. In this impactful position, youll collaborate with educators, families, and fellow professionals to provide essential services that foster positive learning environments and promote students social, emotional, and academic growth.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology
- Experience conducting behavioral and psychoeducational assessments
- Strong knowledge of IEP process, MTSS/RTI frameworks, and intervention strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work with diverse student populations and a range of disabilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students across assigned schools and age groups
- Develop and implement evidence-based interventions and supports
- Participate in IEP and other multidisciplinary team meetings
- Offer consultation to faculty, staff, and families regarding student needs
- Maintain accurate records and timely documentation per school and district protocols
- Stay current with best practices in school psychology and educational law
- Collaborate to create safe, inclusive learning environments
