Job Description

Essential Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
  • Valid certification or state licensure in School Psychology
  • Experience in K-12 settings is beneficial
  • Thorough understanding of assessment, intervention, and counseling within school environments
  • Ability to collaborate with educators, administrators, and families
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Must comply with HB 486: district background check, fingerprinting, and employment history review requirements

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct student assessments to identify individual educational and behavioral needs
  • Design and implement intervention strategies to support students academically, socially, and emotionally
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Provide crisis intervention and counseling as needed
  • Consult with staff and families to promote effective learning environments
  • Document all services delivered in accordance with school policy
  • Assist in data collection and analysis for evaluating student progress

As part of this contract position, you will work approximately 37.5 hours per week throughout the school year, with specific schools and caseload details determined upon assignment. Prescreen interviews may be conducted to ensure the best fit for you and the district.
