Job Description
Provide psychological services in a dynamic school setting located in Colorado Springs, CO, supporting students educational and emotional well-being through comprehensive evaluations and direct intervention. This contract position begins ASAP and continues through May 28, 2026, offering a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week at one school site within a reputable district.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough psychoeducational evaluations to assess students' learning and behavioral needs.
- Deliver direct psychological services, including counseling, crisis intervention, and behavior support.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all legal, ethical, and district standards.
- Participate in meetings, staff training, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification/license appropriate for the state of Colorado.
- Experience providing school-based psychological services, including assessments and counseling.
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, assessment tools, and intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, parents, and school staff.
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively within a structured timeline.
