A school psychologist opportunity is available in Coal City, IL, designed for professionals licensed through the State Board. This position is offered on a contract-to-hire basis, providing a consistent 37.5-hour workweek spread across five days. The role supports students at both the elementary and high school levels, with a caseload of approximately 40 to 50 students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop support plans.
- Provide counseling and interventions tailored to student needs.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to team decision-making.
- Monitor student progress and adjust services accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Current state licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working with elementary and high school-aged students.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and educational laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload of 4050 students effectively.
