Job Description

In this contract role, youll collaborate with educators and families to address the academic, behavioral, and emotional needs of students from diverse backgrounds. Your expertise will be essential for developing interventions, facilitating assessments, and creating positive learning environments.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in School Psychology or a related field is required
  • Current Michigan School Psychologist Licensure is mandatory
  • Experience supporting students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels is preferred
  • Strong communication, consultation, and collaborative skills
  • Proficiency in conducting psychological evaluations and writing comprehensive reports

Responsibilities:

  • Administer evaluations and interpret data to support special education eligibility and programming
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators on academic and behavioral interventions
  • Provide crisis response services and help develop student support plans
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and serve as a resource for mental health awareness
  • Support classroom teachers in implementing evidence-based interventions
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
