Job Description
A full-time, on-site School Psychologist position is available in the Columbus, OH area, serving K-8 charter schools within a well-established network. This contract role offers the opportunity to work closely with school principals and special education teams to support students with diverse disabilities. The position is anticipated to start ASAP and continue through the end of the school year, with exact hours and caseload details to be confirmed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for K-8 students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and intervention services tailored to student needs
- Participate in child study teams and meetings to support student success
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of assessments and interventions
Qualifications:
- Valid Ohio School Psychologist License required
- Experience working with a diverse student population, including various disabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with school personnel and families
- Ability to manage a caseload efficiently while maintaining high standards of care
- Commitment to working on-site during school hours
