Job Description

Step into a dynamic and rewarding contract role supporting K-5 and some preschool students as a School Psychologist in the Cincinnati area. This opportunity runs from early August to late October, covering vital maternity leaves within a forward-thinking educational setting. You'll enjoy working a consistent, full-time schedule of 35 hours per week alongside dedicated educators and support staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive psychological services to K-5 and preschool students, addressing a broad spectrum of disabilities
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development
  • Implement evidence-based interventions and support RTI/MTSS processes
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and district standards
  • Participate in eligibility determinations and IEP meetings
  • Support crisis intervention and prevention services as needed

Qualifications:

  • Active Ohio School Psychologist credential (non-negotiable)
  • Experience with elementary and/or preschool populations preferred
  • Skilled in assessment, consultation, and intervention techniques
  • Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork abilities
  • Adaptable to a wide variety of student needs and disabilities
