What were looking for:
- Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state certification/license as a School Psychologist (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience with a range of assessment tools and methods
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards and confidentiality
- Prior experience in a school setting is valued
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive psycho-educational assessments to identify student strengths and needs
- Collaborating with teachers, counselors, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions
- Providing group and individual counseling to address emotional and behavioral challenges
- Assisting with crisis response and intervention strategies as needed
- Offering consultation and training to staff and parents about student mental health and learning differences
