Seeking a dedicated professional to provide specialized support as a School Psychologist for the 2026/2027 school year. This contract opportunity involves working part-time, specifically on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm. Youll make a meaningful impact by working with a small group of students14 in totalwho have Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), focusing on performing evaluations and re-evaluations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience in conducting psychological assessments and re-evaluations within the school setting
- Solid understanding of special education laws and IEP procedures
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations for students with IEPs
- Compile thorough and timely assessment reports
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering insights and recommendations based on assessment results
- Provide consultation and collaboration with teachers and support staff regarding student needs and interventions
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and legal requirements
