Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a School Psychologist in a vibrant educational environment near Cicero, IL. This contract position runs from ASAP through June, offering the opportunity to support a diverse K-12 student population across multiple school sites. You'll collaborate with a dedicated team to help students achieve their full academic and emotional potential.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Illinois School Psychologist license (IL PSYCH)
- Previous experience in an educational or school-based setting preferred
- Strong communication, assessment, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Capacity to adapt services across multiple school locations
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive school culture
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement data-informed interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
- Participate in IEP/504 meetings and student support teams
- Offer consultation and crisis support as needed
- Maintain accurate student records in accordance with regulations
- Promote students social, emotional, and academic well-being
