Job Description
This full-time position for a School Psychologist offers an exciting opportunity to support a diverse student population in a dynamic school setting near Franklin Park, IL. The role involves managing a caseload of approximately 50 students, conducting re-evaluations, and actively participating on the MTSS team for tier 3 interventions, including Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP).
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations and re-evaluations to assess students learning, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and the MTSS team to develop and implement effective interventions and support strategies for tier 3 students
- Designing and monitoring Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) based on Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA)
- Providing counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with school and state regulations
Ideal candidates will possess:
- Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working within school settings, particularly with MTSS frameworks and behavioral assessments
- Strong analytical and communication skills to collaborate effectively with staff and families
- Ability to manage a caseload efficiently while providing high-quality service
