This opportunity seeks a skilled School Psychologist to support the elementary education environment in Cicero, IL. The role is a contract position covering the school year, working within an elementary school setting that includes a dual-language program. The position starts in mid-March and continues through early June.
Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological services to students, including assessments, evaluations, and interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student learning and wellbeing
- Contribute to individual education plan (IEP) development as needed
- Deliver support services in-person following district and union guidelines
- Participate in meetings and communicate effectively with school staff and families
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working in elementary school settings
- Strong assessment and intervention skills tailored to young students
- Ability to work full-time Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 8:15 AM to 3:45 PM; Wednesday 8:15 AM to 4:00 PM
- Bilingual (Spanish) skills are highly desirable but not required
- Willingness to consider candidates available for part-time (2-3 days per week) if full-time availability is not possible
