Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid School Psychologist credential or eligibility for California licensure.
• Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field.
• Demonstrated experience providing psychological services in K-12 settings.
• Strong skills in assessment, counseling, and intervention planning.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with students, staff, and families.
• Commitment to ethical, culturally responsive practice and inclusivity.
• Experience with IEPs, MTSS, 504 plans, and behavioral supports preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological evaluations to identify strengths and needs of students.
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, administrators, and families to develop and support effective learning strategies.
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to create, implement, and review individualized education programs (IEPs) and 504 plans.
• Provide individual and group counseling to address academic, behavioral, and emotional challenges.
• Deliver crisis intervention and consultation services as needed.
• Contribute to prevention and intervention programs that promote positive educational outcomes and safe school climates.
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines.
