Job Description

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • Hold a valid School Psychologist certification or license in Ohio
  • Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Experience in K-12 school settings preferred
  • Proficiency in conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
  • Strong knowledge of RTI/MTSS frameworks, interventions, and eligibility criteria
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and report-writing skills
  • Familiarity with special education law and best practices for student support

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual evaluations for academic, behavioral, and social-emotional concerns
  • Interpret assessment results and participate in eligibility and IEP meetings
  • Develop and recommend evidence-based interventions and supports
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to address student needs
  • Participate in crisis intervention, risk assessments, and solution-focused counseling
  • Promote positive behavioral interventions and mental health awareness
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations
