Make a difference in the lives of young learners by supporting the mental health and educational success of pre-kindergarten students in a dynamic school environment near Chicago, IL. This contract position for a School Psychologist offers onsite engagement, working closely with educators, students, and families to foster a positive learning atmosphere.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Psychologist license required
• Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement
• Experience with Pre K student populations strongly preferred
• Previous school-based experience is a plus
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt and work effectively with diverse students and teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and psycho-educational assessments
• Collaborate in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct intervention and counseling services to Pre K students
• Offer support and consultation to teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) processes
• Maintain accurate records and prepare necessary documentation
• Stay current with best practices and compliance requirements in school psychology
