What you'll bring:
- Active Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist Endorsement (Illinois)
- Previous experience in school psychology, particularly with students on the autism spectrum
- Expertise in administering psychological and educational assessments
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
- Commitment to supporting a positive, inclusive learning environment
- Flexibility and adaptability in working across multiple grade levels and school settings
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for students across assigned grade levels
- Serve as a resource to staff and families on student mental health, learning, and behavior
- Provide direct support and interventions to students with a focus on high-needs autism populations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education plans
- Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and administrators to promote student success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with school and state guidelines
