This contract position offers a balanced weekday schedule, working from 8am to 3pm, to foster student wellbeing and academic achievement. What Youll Need:
- Valid School Psychologist credential for Illinois
- Experience working with elementary-aged children (K-5 preferred)
- Strong assessment, report writing, and counseling skills
- Collaborative approach with educators, parents, and support staff
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to handle diverse student needs
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities
What Youll Do:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment data
- Develop and support IEPs, behavioral plans, and intervention strategies
- Lead and participate in student support meetings
- Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention services
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to promote positive learning environments
- Maintain detailed, confidential records in line with school requirements
