Your responsibilities will center on conducting vital assessments and evaluations, collaborating with educators and parents to develop effective educational plans, and prioritizing each students unique strengths and needs. Youll engage with a diverse school-age population, ensuring their social, emotional, and academic growth through your expertise and insights.

Key qualifications include:

  • Hold a current Illinois School Psychologist license (IL Psych).
  • Experience working within school settings or with IEP teams is preferred.
  • Strong background in conducting psychological assessments and evaluations.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Ability to collaborate and build relationships with both staff and families.
  • Familiarity with special education processes and documentation requirements.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with IEP teams to design, conduct, and interpret assessments and evaluations for K-12 students.
  • Preparing and delivering written reports, attending meetings, and making recommendations grounded in assessment findings.
  • Maintaining timely and accurate documentation in accordance with state and district guidelines.
  • Periodically working from home to complete required paperwork, as permitted.
  • Contributing to multidisciplinary teams to support academic and emotional goals for students.
