Job Description

Make a real impact in students lives as a dedicated School Psychologist working with 3rd to 5th graders in a supportive, collaborative environment near Chicago, IL. This full-time, onsite contract opportunity offers the chance to work closely with elementary students, teachers, and families to foster academic, social, and emotional growth.

In this role, youll use your expertise to conduct assessments, provide counseling, and collaborate on interventions that help every child thrive. Youll be part of a passionate team that values professional collaboration and whole-child support.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Illinois School Psychologist License
  • Professional Educator License (PEL)
  • Ability to work full-time onsite, 36-40 hours per week
  • Experience supporting elementary-aged students is preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological and academic assessments for 3rd5th grade students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and short-term support to students
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to enhance student success
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to data-driven decision-making
  • Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to ethical and legal guidelines
