Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or appropriate state licensure
- Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field
- Previous experience delivering psychological services in a K-12 educational setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of assessment techniques, intervention strategies, and special education processes
- Ability to interpret data, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and provide actionable recommendations
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations to support student learning and development
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents
- Develop, implement, and monitor interventions to address academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Provide counseling services and crisis intervention as appropriate
- Assist in eligibility determination for special education services and help create effective IEPs
- Offer staff training and consultative guidance to promote a safe, supportive school climate
