Step into a part-time contract opportunity supporting students' educational journeys as a School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This specialized role offers a chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students, working closely with a focused caseload of 14 children who are currently on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). The assignment is conveniently scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm, providing excellent work-life balance.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold a valid School Psychologist certification and relevant state licensure.
- Previous experience working in school-based settings, especially with students on IEPs.
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills for conducting evaluations and re-evaluations.
- Familiarity with special education laws, guidelines, and compliance procedures.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with educators, staff, and families.
- Ability to write clear, thorough reports and participate in IEP meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations for a caseload of 14 students, interpreting assessment data and identifying educational needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective interventions and support plans.
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing your expertise to support best outcomes for each student.
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with special education regulations.
- Provide guidance, resources, and consultative support to teachers and staff as needed.
