Job Description

Empower student success by supporting schools near Chicago, IL as a contracted School Psychologist for the 20262027 academic year. This opportunity spans from August 26, 2026, through June 11, 2027, with a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, working between 37 and 40 hours each week.

In this dynamic role, your expertise will impact students across elementary, middle, and high school settings. The primary focus will be on conducting re-evaluation reviews, eligibility meetings, and functional behavioral assessments, alongside a select number of initial evaluations. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop tailored support plans for students, ensuring their emotional, behavioral, and academic growth. Additional case-specific responsibilities and school-site details will be provided during the interview process.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist license issued by the state of Illinois (IL).
  • Previous experience conducting psychological assessments, eligibility meetings, and functional behavioral assessments within school environments.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively across diverse age groups and educational levels.
  • Flexibility to adapt to varying caseloads and student needs during the assignment.
  • No remote/virtual work permitted; must be able to provide in-person services per districts requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive psychological evaluations and participate in eligibility meetings.
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop student support strategies.
  • Carry a mixed caseload encompassing elementary, middle, and high school students.
  • Conduct functional behavioral assessments and contribute to multidisciplinary review processes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school, state, and federal regulations.
