Job Description

An exciting opportunity awaits experienced School Psychologists looking to make a meaningful impact in an elementary school setting. This contract position spans the full semester, allowing for a deep engagement with students and staff to support diverse psychological needs.

Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
  • Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working with K-5 students
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals

Location:

  • Chicago, IL

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide counseling and therapeutic interventions tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to promote mental health and wellness in the school
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a supportive school environment
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with regulations
